Simisola (Fox Lorber)

Chief Inspector Wexford in a darkly intelligent, deeply troubling labyrinth of sex, murder and race.

Four women-three black and one white. Two are murdered. One is missing. The fourth has been viciously beaten and is barely alive. It is she who will provide Wexford with a key that , once turned, will lead him down a path as uncompromising as it is spine chilling. IT will also challenge him to closely re-examine his own perceptions.

With all of the complex psychological undertones and surprising twists and turns for which Time Magazine dubbed Ruth Rendell "...the best mystery writer in the English speaking world."
