Motley Crue: VH-1 Behind The Music

They did double the legal limit in everything.

VH1's acclaimed Behind the Music: Motley Crue examines they twisted world of the heavily tattooed band that had more sex, more drugs, and played louder rock'n'roll than anyone before. Crue members and the people closest to them track the story of four hungry musicians who blew a hole in the popular music landscape of the early 80s Los Angeles, and then succeeded, sometimes in spite of themselves.

Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee, Mick Mars, and Vince Neil share stories of the inspiration and decadence that fuel-injected Motley Crue's fire until they were burned out and nearly finished. On Behind the Music: Motley Crue, find out why Vince's 1984 car wreck tore apart two rock bands. Hear Nikki speak candidly about the night he died. Died. Get the scoop on the extra-curricular activities that made Tommy part of a huge media circus. And see how, ultimately, the boys would redeem themselves and make music well into the next century.

They've been there. In fact, they've been way out there-always a team of spirited and talented musicians pushing the envelope. Now, a sane and sober Motley Crue gives their fans and VH1 an insider's look at rock's most dangerous band in the baddest, raunchiest Behind the Music to date.
