Present Day. Paris. Laura Siprien (Monica Bellucci) leads the perfect life with her single son, Liu-San (Nicolas Thau), a Mongolian orphan whom she lovingly adopted seven years ago. Laura is able to give her child a good home due to her high-level career as an embassy translator .
