One rainy night in a laboratory, Dr. Komyoji, a famous scientist in robotics, was about to complete his secret project, an android named "Jiro." But the evil Professor Gill, leader of the underground crime organization Dark, having learned Jiro's true purpose, destroys the lab.
Dr. Komyoji hasn't been seen since that night, and now his daughter Mitsuko has found a note from him asking her to look after Jiro. It seems that poor Jiro has a "conscience circuit" which gives him a human soul. And now, Professor Gill is after him. Together, Mitsuko and Jiro get caught up in the never-ending battle against Dark.
