In the story, Cornelius tries to grow a perfect black tulip in order to win a large sum of first place prize money. However, Cornelius defeats Boxtel, saves Rosa and with her help, wins the grand prize.
The Corsican Brothers Twin brothers, Lucien and Louis, are born to Count de Franchi and his wife just as their castle is attacked and destroyed. The Count, fearing for the safety of his children, stow the boys away in separate boats, giving their servants magical amulets which prove the identity of the children. After eighteen years of separation and unbeknownst of their relationship and identity, the brothers are reunited when Lucien rushes to help an injured Louis, that he knows only as a stranger. When the two brothers meet, their guardians tell them of their history and the strength the magical amulets hold.
The Princess and the Pirate Cheated from his rightful place on the throne by the evil Rajah, Sandokan is forced to turn to piracy to feed himself and his loyal men.
