France's Fling Ambassadors Of Friendship:
Since the birth of flight, France has been one of the leading nations in aviation and o course its history of aerobatics flying teams is quite long. In 1913 the first loop de loop took place in Versailles and 18 years later the first aerobatics team "Patrouille de Tamp" was established and except during wartime several aerobatics teams have been flying since.
The latest in a longstanding history of acrobats is the Patrouille de France, the official flying team of the French Air Force. Even though people may not know them by name, they've probably seen them at events such as the Paris Festival of July 14, the Le Mans race, the French Open and Formula One races where their 8 jets leave an undoubtedly memorable trail of smoke in the French tricolors. As such the Patrouille de Frances is an indispensable part of any national event and aren't just an ordinary air team, but France's flying ambassadors of friendship.
