Carrot Top makes his film debut in this new comedy from Trimark Pictures. In Chairman of the Board, Carrot Top plays Edison, a work-a-phobic surfer who goes from the surf board to the board room of a large company. No ordinary slacker, Edison spends his days trying to come up with the next great gizmo. Edison's meteoric rise to the top comes when he meets Armand McMillan (Jack Warden) , head of McMillan Industries. McMillan is drawn to Edison's imagination and inventiveness and bequeaths to him the Chairman position in his company. As Chairman of McMillan Industries, Edison brings his creative genius to the company and in the process upturns the dull staid McMillan "suits" who would rather things remain unchanged. This is particularly true of Edison's nemesis in the movie, Bradford McMillan, the nephew of the elder McMillan. Along his road to success, Edison brings his unique comedy to "bored" meetings and company parties. Fans of Carrot Top's stand-up comedy will be on the floor laughing at his screen debut and those new to his comedy won't be disappointed. Chairman of the Board also stars Courtney Thorne-Smith as Natalie, Edison's love interest, comedian Larry Miller as the villainous Bradford McMillan, Raquel Welch as Ms. Grace Kosik the sexy head of a rival corporation, Mystro Clark as Ty and Jack Plotnick as Freemont the tried and true friends of Edison.
