Paris Kammerensemble- The Kammerensemble De Paris was founded in 1987 by the violinist Jean-Claude Bouveresse as a chamber ensemble for string and wind instruments and is a first prize winner at the conservatoires of Paris, Berlin and Brussels as well as prizes at other international competitions. Its members belong to the major symphonic orchestras in Paris such as: the Paris Opera, the Orchestre de Paris, the Orchestre de Radio-France, the Ensemble Orchestral de Paris and the Ensemble intercontemporain.

Armin Jordan was the director of the Bale Opera for more than twelve years and he is now the conductor for life of the Orchestre De La Suisse Romande, as the successor of the celebrated Ernest Ansermet. After heading the Lausanne Chamber Orchestra, Jordan was the "favorite guest conductor" of the Ensemble Orchestral De Paris from 1986 to 1993.His collaboration with the Kammerensemble De Paris once again demonstrates his tireless concern for chamber music and his strong inclination for working with small orchestras.
