SynopsisMORE TALES OF THE CITYis nothing more or less than six hours of fully outrageous coincidence with some of the most charming characters. A 1970's visual nostalgia of glittering and addictive comedy. That has developed an almostcult like following. The lovelorn residents of 28 Barbary Lane include the bewildered but aspiring Mary Ann Singleton; the libidinous Brian Hawkins; Mona Ramsey, still in a sixties trance; Michael "Mouse" Toliver in bright eyed pursuit ofMr. Right; and their marijuana growing landlady, the indefatigable Mrs. Madrigal.Thrown into the mix you have other exciting characters such a Mother Mucca an elderly madam of a Brothel; DeDe Day who is expecting twins(but they are not her husbands) and her mother Frannie who is inducted into a sex club for women over 60 called Pinus. It's an addictive miniseries of light amusement and mystery all dressed up in 1970's kitsch. With the right balance of major and minor characters, as well as subplots mixed into the sprawl to provide a welcome detour from the major doings.
