Come to the Stable (1949) follows two nuns, Sister Margaret and Sister Scholastica, who arrive in the small town of Bethlehem, Connecticut, with a plan to build a children's hospital despite having no funds or formal support. Their unwavering faith and determination gradually win over the initially skeptical townsfolk, leading them to rally behind the nuns' ambitious mission.
