Five college students drive through the desert on their way to Burning Man, where they intend to let themselves go, indulging in sex and drug fueled revelry. Attempting to shave some time, the driver takes a shortcut off the main highway. After driving for hours, the group realizes that they are lost and heads for a dilapidated shack far off in the distance to set up camp for the night. Little do they know that with nightfall comes an unstoppable creature with a strange intoxicant that causes a powerful addiction, blurring the lines between craving and terror, between friend and foe.
