There's A Little Drama In All Of Us.
Class Act tells the inspirational story of eccentric public school drama teacher, Jay W. Jensen, who taught for over 50 years and became known as "Teacher to the Stars" by launching the careers of actor Andy Garcia, director Brett Ratner, songwriter Desmond Child, music executive Jose Behar, Broadway producer Adam Epstein, sportscaster Roy Firestone and countless others.
Filmmakers and Jensen alumni Heather Winters and Sara Sackner go "back to school" to find the drama program has vanished, not only at their Miami Beach alma mater, but nationwide. Class Act interweaves Jensen's personal story with the national story of arts education on life-support, and delivers a frightening look at how the loss of music, dance, theatre and art in American's classrooms impacts the future of our nation's children.
