Parts 1-4: The Mysterious Planet Via the Matrix, the court reviews the Doctor and Peri's recent actions on the planet Ravolox, beneath whose surface lie secrets that threaten the very fabric of the universe.

Parts 5-8: Mindwarp The Valeyard presents damning evidence of the Doctor's interference on the planet Thoros Beta WHERE the Doctor seems determined to help his former enemy Sil, while turning against his companion Peri.

Parts 9-12: Terror of the Vervoids In a desperate bid to clear his name, the Doctor cites his aid to the starliner Hyperion III WHERE he and Mel face a new breed of terror.

Parts 13-14: The Ultimate Foe With the trial in disarray, the Doctor flees into the Matrix to confront his enemy.
