You Heard The Rumors

Enter the closed doors of Damon Dash's and Jay-Z's hip-hop empire. Shot in New York City, Death of a Dynasty centers around Dave Katz (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), a journalist at a hip-hop magazine who is sent on assignment to uncover the often comedic underworld of Roc-a-Fella Records. Dave believes he is a member of the Roc team and privy to the daily "goings-on" at one of the world's hottest record companies .Although he is actually "two-timing" the magazine (feeding sordid gossip items about the feuding partners to local gossip columns), the journalist thinks he is a real "playa" only to later find out that he is the one being played.
