Frances and Evelyn, two sistes in their sixties have shared a home for the past 20 years. Life is on a normal daily course until Frances meets Max with whom she falls in love. Fearing lonelines, Evelyn tries to end Frances and Max's love affair, but only temporarily succeeds. Frances and Max rediscover their life together, leaving Evelyn understanding that when on door in life closes, a new and better one opens.
