The California West As You've Never Seen It Before.
It's Northern California in 1836. Gunfighters and Spanish Dons rule the land. But the U.S. government is squeezing the Dons with taxes to steal their land. The powerful Don Santiago (Richard Angarola - Papillion) plans to steal a shipment of government gold to pay, but standing in his way is an innocent band of coastal Indians who must be massacred.
The Master Gunfighter (superstar Tom Laughlin - Billy Jack) must overcome all odds to defeat Paula Santiago (Ron O'Neal - Superfly) and his powerful hacienda forces to save the tribe. Barbara Carrera (Embryo, Never Say Never Again) stars as the gunfighter's devoted wife, Eula, torn between the love of her husband and her brother Paulo.
Described by many as the most beautiful western ever produced, the film is a rare father-son partnership with Tom starring (and writing) and his son, Frank, directing.
