In the Battle Between Passion and Tradition, No Heart Is Spared.
In this fiery epic drama, young Kate Munro leaves mainland Australia in the late 1920s and travels to remote Gannet Island as a doctor. What she will discover there is raw passion, as wild and untamed as the rugged land itself.
Kate's headstrong, modern ways instantly clash with the rigid customs of her patients. However, Vic Hanlon, son of Gannet's wealthiest family, is intrigued with her spirited beauty and hopes to make her his wife. Not so impressed is Vic's brother, Michael, the resident priest. He and Kate find themselves constantly at war, his traditional beliefs violently at odds with her new ideas.
As circumstance and crisis repeatedly throw them together, flames of forbidden feelings begin to rise between Kate and Michael and threaten to blaze out of control, consuming everything and everyone in their path.
