After a few promising dates, Paul questions whether he still has the passion to make a new relationship work. As Paul comes to terms with this reluctance to be with Emily, Bella finds herself at a similar place with Bruno. Guardedly, the two couples continue amidst the swirling issues of love, sex, age and commitment. Soon however, a random encounter changes Bella's life in a way she could never have imagined.
