Ex-Legionnaire Andre Siegel moves to the US to start a new life. Still emotionally wrecked from his turbulent past, he takes a job as a nightclub bouncer, easily fitting into he world of brawls and intimidation. Soon he falls for a young girl, Janie, opening a side of himself he'd though long dead. Desperate to be an actress, Andre watches in horror as Janie is seduced by the bright lights of the LA underworld and falls under a spell of nightclub owner Junior Lopez. Working as a hostess, she is beaten senseless by a customer and only saved by Andre's timely arrival. This sets in motion a chain of events that can only end in violence.
