At the height of her success, alternative rock star Gypsy puts down her violin and walks away from her career. She retreats with Lucian, her musician husband, to the desolation of Cape Cod in winter. There in Lucian's lonely family cottage, isolated from all they worked to achieve., Lucian tries to support Gypsy in her quest for renewal and peace. Their solitude is cut short, however, when Lucian's long lost brother Jimmy arrives without warning. Unbeknownst to them, Jimmy (Thomas Jay Ryan, "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind", "Henry Ford") is seeking refuge of his own after committing a horrible murder back in Boston. A bizarre connection quickly develops between the alienated Gypsy and the spontaneous, uncensored Jimmy. Here in the quietest corner of New England, a disturbing tale of obsession unfolds as the demented Jimmy finds himself madly in love with his brother's wife, begging the question: What happens when music meets murder?

"Writer-director Mark Wilkinson gracefully elides backstories while arranging his converging characters into a neat fugue!"
David Ng - Village Voice
