Inside Science is an animated educational series designed to introduce students, grades 3rd - 7th, to core-curriculum science subjects.

Plants, the first volume in this series, consists of five separate videos. Each takes a detailed look at different plant lessons.

Plants Are Important - Without plants life on Earth would not exist. Oxygen, food, building materials, paper, and clothing are just a few things humans get from plants.

Parts Of Plants - Although more than 400,000 different species of plants exist, most are made of the same basic parts. Each part has a unique function which is essential to the plant's survival.

Phtoosynthesis, Respiration, Transportation - From the outside, plants may seem simple or boring, but inside each plant a delicate and complex chemical engine is keeping the plant alive. Photosynthesis, respiration, and transpiration are three processes that keep the plant healthy.

Plant Reproduction- The Earth is covered with a wonderful variety of plant life. These plants not only look different, they also have different ways of multiplying.

Biomes - Many varieties of plants thrive in different parts of the world. Each type of environment supports diverse plants and animals
