Star Packer: One of John Wayne's best "B" westerns, the Star Packer features Wayne as John Travers, who, with the help of his Indian companion, Yak, pursues the dangerous Shadow and his gang. When the town's sheriff is killed, Wayne takes over and makes plans to trap the Shadow once and for all.
Blue Steel: In Blue Steel, John Wayne portrays a U.S. marshal John Carruthers who observes a robbery but the town's Sheriff thinks Wayne is the culprit. Meanwhile, the town's leading citizen is planning to rob everyone blind.
