This ain't no kiddie cartoon!
The world of animation gets hot and sassy with this sexy and provocative romp in the Windy City detailing the lives of four gorgeous and fiery Sistas 'N The City. There is nothing that compares to watching black women dish the truth about their careers, their families, their sex lives and their men!
Meet Tamika, a career driven woman seduced by a fine looking mama's boy, and Mercedes, a sculptor, whose position on black men is "show me where the white man went." Rounding out the femme fatal posse are bougie law clerk Jordan, who has decided that "men are from mars, and black women are stuck on earth," and fledgling singer Athena who is "going to do whatever it takes to get to the top," even if she won't be able to recognize herself in the mirror again.
From elation to eviction, the Sistas experience the highs and lows of the big city. When they are presented with tempting but questionable opportunities, they are forced to make life altering decisions.
Sistas 'N the City is sexy, edgy, insightful, hilarious and powerful. You just might recognize one of these girls as a member of your own crew.
Created by Tina Andrews, writer of the award-winning Sally Hemings: An American Scandal, Jackie Bouvier Kennedy Onassis, and Why Do Fools Fall In Love. Featuring the voices of Dawnn Lewis (The Cherokee Kid, A Different World) and Medusa, queen of the underground hip-hop (Stranger Inside).
