Of Human Bondage Screen legends Bette Davis and Leslie Howard burn up the silver screen in this classic romance written by noted English author W. Somerset Maugham (Razor's Edge, Secret Agent). Howard plays a rich kid with a disability, studying to become a Doctor. When he falls in love with an illiterate waitress from the wrong side of the tracks, he's got to figure out what's more important; the girl with the Bette Davis eyes or becoming a Doctor. Before he can make that decision, she dumps him for a rich but married businessman, played by the Skipper's dad, Alan Hale Sr. When she comes back, pregnant and alone, the soon to be Doctor must now make the ultimate decision of a lifetime!
Eternally Yours Sparks fly in this magic filled romance comedy when the dashing David Niven (The Guns Of Navarone) meets the beautiful Loretta Young (The Bishop's Wife). Niven plays a professional magician and Young plays his wife who wants to live a normal life free of the limelight. When her husband refuses to give up the showbiz life, she heads for Reno to take matters into her own hands! Now the Great Arturo will do whatever it takes to prevent her from becoming a disappearing act! Eternally Yours was filmed using the 1939 World's Fair as a backdrop. It's hilarious fun for all, starring one of the most elegant ladies to ever come out of Hollywood.
