Gangs Inc.: A young woman is put in jail after taking the rap for her rich boyfriend's drunk driving manslaughter charge. Upon her release from the Big House, she decides to make up for lost time and becomes a master criminal, vowing to destroy the lawyer that set her up! Alan Ladd stars as the under-cover cop determined to bring her back from the brink of self-destruction and a life full of crime! There is plenty of non-stop double crossing fun and excitement in this gangster film that proves being a gangland boss is not just for men anymore!
They Made Me A Criminal!: Hollywood legend and award winning John Garfield (The Postman Always Rings Twice) stars in this top-drawer drama directed by the famed Busby Berkeley. Garfield plays a bad boy boxer who gets blamed for a murder he didn't commit! Now he's on the run from the law, hiding out on a fig plantation with the Dead End Kids (in their first screen appearance). But picking figs isn't quite the same as picking fights in the ring, and Garfield is soon back boxing under a different name. They Made Me a Criminal also stars Claude Rains (Casablanca) as the police detective who won't give up the chase and believes he can bring the fugitive to justice. The classic film delivers a real knock out punch!
