A Legendary Story of Swordsman's Love and Fate

At the end of the Yuan Dynasty, when Mongolian was ruling all of the Chinese Continent, the Mongolians, the Hans, and the Koryo (ancient Korean) migrants were going through racial conflicts while experiencing the strife of local baron's rivalry.

Jinha (Shin Hyun Joon), son of a Koryo migrant falls for Sullie (Kim Hee Sun), illegitimate daughter of a Mongolian commander. After some time, Jinha knows the secret of his parent's death. Sullie's father, Taruga wants to kill Jinha for his Bichun Secret Arts, the strongest martial secret, Nevertheless it can't stop them from heading for a hiding place to love each other. Caught by Taruga, Jinha is shot by arrows and fall from a cliff. Miraculously brought back to life, Jihna is reborn as Jahalang, a hired assassin, and is back for revenge. This martial-arts love story depicts the conflicts that the lovers face, as they struggle with their feelings and their fate.
