In 2002, the New York Football Giants exceeded all expectations but their own. Picked by many to finish last in the NFC East, they rumbled to a 10-6 record and their second playoff appearance in three years.

New York's return to the ranks of the NFL elite was marked by an offense that established itself as one of the league's best. Kerry Collins passed for over 4,000 yards, while Tiki Barber finished second in the NFC in rushing. Amani Toomer set a team record with 82 receptions for 1,343 yards, while the emergence of electrifying newcomer Jeremy Shockey energized the entire team. The Giants' pounding defense was led by All-Star Michael Strahan, Will Allen, Will Peterson and Shaun Williams.

The thrilling highs and gut-wrenching lows of Big Blue's 2002 season are all here, including season sweeps over Dallas and Washington and the magical overtime victory over the Philadelphia Eagles, which pushed the team into the playoffs. With the talent and the motivation to make 2003 theirs, the New York Giants are intent upon completing.
