The trap is set. The stakes are high. There's no one left to trust.

NYPD Detective Mike Santini has bagged a big one. He's nabbed Eddie Meyers, a fugitive criminal mastermind whose testimony is crucial to a federal money-laundering case. Now all Santini must do is keep Meyers tucked away in a posh safe house and deliver him to trial. Too bad a cop's life is never that easy.

Rob Lowe portrays Santini, a workaday cop with a tainted past-and perhaps without a future if he falls under the cat-and-mouse sway of Meyers. Sam Neill plays Meyers, living the good life and determined to stay a step ahead of the game. and Daniel Petrie, Jr. (screenwriter of Beverly Hills Cop and The Big Easy) works from his own screenplay to direct this thriller rife with intrigue, action and unexpected turns.
