His Death Ignited A War America Can't Win.

Based on a true story...

On February 7, 1985, undercover DEA agent Enrique Camarena (Steven Bauer) was abducted and murdered under the orders of drug kingpin Rafael Caro Quintero (Academy Award winner Benicio Del Toro). Camarena had fought on the front lines of the drug war for years, determined to bust the cartels that pervaded Mexico. The disappearance of this dedicated agent sparked a massive US led investigation. Soon, his colleagues' search for justice unraveled an unsettling conspiracy involving military cover ups and political corruption. Just how entangled were the drug mafias and the Mexican government? The truth ran deeper than the US- and Camarena -ever imagined.
