Based on the novel by legendary crime writer Edgar Wallace

Hidden among the ominous shadows of the dark, narrow streets of London, a monstrous man with glazed white eyes waits for his next victim. An elderly gentlemen stumbling through the log crosses the creature's path and is carried off by the fiend. Later fished out of the Thames, the victim is the latest in a series of strange deaths in which wealthy foreigners are found drowned on foggy nights - all the owners of large insurance policies. Inspector Holt of Scotland Yard suspects the deaths are actually brutal, calculated murders. The evidence points to a notorious band of madmen known as "The Blind Killers of London," a group hell-bent on collecting the insurance policy payoffs of their victims.

Based on a novel by legendary crime writer Edgar Wallace, Dead Eyes of London stars the internationally-renowned Klaus Kinski and German Character actor Joachim Fuchsberger. This atmospheric chiller is directed by Alfred Vohrer and is a suspenseful remake of Bela Lugosi's horror classic, The Human Monster (1939). Vohrer, no stranger to Edgar Wallace mysteries, created several other films in the "krimi" genre including The Gorilla of Soho, The Door with Seven Locks, The Squeaker and the Mysterious Magician.
