The most popular animated character of the '20s. Felix the Cat was created by Australian cartoonist Pat Sullivan, and appeared in more than a hundred shorts during the silent era. In 1936, Felix returned at RKO Radio in three of Burt Gillett's Rainbow Parade Cartoons (one of which, Bold King Cole, was co-directed by longtime Felix veteran Otto Messmer). All three of those colorful adventures are here, along with such silliness as Base Brawl. In which you "follow the bouncing baseball" to the tune of "Take Me out to the Ball Game." Plus Tex Avery's Pilgrim parody Jerky Turkey, the Ub Iwerks ComiColor Cartoons Jack Frost and Tom Thumb. Max and Dave Fleischer's The Cobweb Hotel, and much more...
