Chelm is an idyllic, peaceful village filled with loveable fools which has recently come under attack by an evil sorcerer. With the aid of his wily fox, the sorcerer steals the magic "Book Of Marvels" from the Chelmites. he conjures up a Golem, a gargantuan beast, which he orders to destroy the defenseless town. Aaron embarks on an exciting, comical odyssey to foil the wicked wizard and prevent him from taking over the whole world. Featuring delightful music and lyrics by Michel Legrand (Yent'l, Summer of '42) and Sheldon Harnick (The Fiddler On the Roof), The Real Shlemiel is a real crowd pleaser.
