Young Mowgli is raised by wolves and can talk to the animals of the jungle. When he tries to re-enter civilization, he catches the eye of a merchant's pretty daughter. but the merchant Buldeo despises the "beast" Mowgli, and forbids his daughter to see him. Undaunted, Mowgli takes her on a tour of the mysterious dark-green jungles, where they stumble upon a lost city and its treasure. human greed soon takes over as the merchant and the other hunters force Mowgli to lead them to the treasure.
