Bucket Of Blood: A frustrated sculptor, who works part-time as a busboy in a beatnick coffee shop, wants to make his mark on the art world. This cat is real crazy man and his new sculptures look so lifelike and real that it's downright scary! It's like someone dipped living people into plaster and called it art! This Beat Bongo Billy film is Jack Kerouac in The Twilight Zone. Considered by critics to be one of Roger Corman's best films, Bucket Of Blood comes with plenty of tongue in cheek humor along with a wholesome dose of scary good times! Music score was by yet to be discovered jazz great Paul Horn. This movie is coolsville Daddy-O and not to be missed!
My Son, The Vampire: There's a vampire on the loose in England, and as a result 13 women are reported missing. This beatnik inspired comedy-horror film will leave you laughing out loud instead of cringing in fear. How scared can you be when the cast jumps into song and dance similar to Rocky Horror Picture Show? The one and only king of all vampires Bela Lugosi stars in this offbeat spoof playing a character he himself made famous, with the help of his giant robot slave, he could rule the world! (or maybe just the beatniks). My Son, The Vampire is in the style of a much more madcap version of Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein and will leave your entire family hungry for a teatime treat of tummy tickling terror.
