Her spirit will not rest until her murder is avenged.

A young woman driven by violent nightmares shatters the peaceful facade of an idyllic waterfront town. Is she possessed? Crazy? A con artist? Or is she a channel for a voice beyond the grave, desperately trying to speak the truth and bring justice upon a killer?

When Drew Summers (Candace Cameron Bure) arrives in Steveton, she seems to have no idea how she got there, or why she is drawn to the site of the murder/suicide of young lovers Laura and Ted (Casper Van Dien). As Drew attempts to discover the source of her confusing dreams, she is embraced by some, including the dead teenager's mother (Teri Garr), held suspect by others and considered a great story by a reporter looking for his big break. Yet is Drew as innocent as she seems? Untangle the web of lies, gossip and conspiracy to find out who can be trusted, and who can be left for dead.
