Darkness can do strange things to a man.
As twenty-four hour darkness descends upon the small town of Revelstoke, Alaska, local barber Dexter Miles knows all too well the signs of an approaching winter. But it's while cutting Sheriff Corgan's hair he is surprised to overhear that the body of Lucy Waters has been found, a woman he murdered days prior and hoped no one would find until spring.
When the big city authorities arrive in Dexter's sleepy town, the barber finds an excitement and resolve he hasn't experienced in years and he needs to feel it again. Now through the eyes of a serial killer, we discover a chilling layer in a weary town whose only concern is surviving another long, dark winter.
