Prehistoric Women: While on safari in Africa, big game hunter David Marchant (Michael Latimer) is captured by a hostile tribe and taken to a temple guarded by a statue of a white rhino. When a lightning bolt splits the temple wall, Marchant runs through and enters a prehistoric world where he meets the striking blondes Saria (Edina Ronay) , who is one of several fair-haired tribeswomen oppressed by a rival group of dark-haired vixens led by the evil Queen Kari (Martine Beswick). Kari's clan regard all men as inferior and David has become Kari's next target. When he resists her advances, a riot breaks out and leaves David desperate to escape the grasp of the Prehistoric Women.
The Witches: Haunted by the terrors of her experience with African witch-doctors, school teacher Gwen Mayfield (Joan Fontaine) accepts an appointment as headmistress at the Haddaby School run by Alan Bax (Alex McCowen) and his sister Stephanie (Kay Walsh). Gwen initially revels in the peacefulness she has found in the quiet English countryside but soon begins to sense "undercurrents." Before long, a local boy falls into a coma and Gwen discovers a voodoo doll impaled by pins. The danger that follows brings her face to face with witchcraft as a series of disasters unfold and lead her to the horrible truth.
