He came, he saw, she conquered.
It is the summer of 1943 and the British Army has been dispatched to a small village in Southern Sicily as part of the Allied Forces operations. Upon their arrival, Colonel Harold Pearson (Ben Cross, Chariots Of Fire) takes charge of the community, laying down laws and severely restricting the Italian way of life. His rules become intolerable...until he is introduced to the mayor's beautiful wife, Maira (Jo Champa, Little Buddha) and becomes totally enamored with her. The Colonel is never quite the same again...
