Lately, She's Been Contemplating Love, Exile, Murder and Acting.

This warm and passionate portrayal of one woman's anguish and another's success stars Academy Award Nominee and Golden Globe Winner for Best Actress Sally Kirkland and Robert Fields, and marks the film debut of internationally famous model Paulina Porizkova.

Anna is the story of an aging Czech film star, exiled from her native country and struggling to establish her career in Manhattan. When Krystyna (Porizkova), a peasant girl, comes to America in search of Anna (Kirkland), the film star she idolizes, Anna opens her heart and her home. Soon Krystyna's ravishing beauty opens the doors to stardom for her, the very same doors that shut Anna out. As America embraces Krystyna, Anna's world is a turmoil as she is forced to confront the realities of her buried past and shattered dreams.
