Smart-alleck L.A. reporter Sue Walker (Grace Bradley) hunts the perpetrator of a string of murders in an effort to scoop her boyfriend, Lt. Brown (Roland Drew) of the homicide division. Investigating the baffling murders leads to a gambling ring. Walker takes her own death and uses her friend Gloria as bait in an attempt to draw out the killer.
