Their love affair was the talk of the town.

Meet the citizens of Grover's Corner, a small New Hampshire town, as they face the large and small questions of life. This classic film adaptation of Thornton Wilder's Pulitzer Prize winning drama stars a young William Holden (Sunset Boulevard) and Martha Scott, who was nominated for an Oscar for this, her first film. Our Town earned six Academy Award nominations, including best picture; and it features the superb performance of Thomas Mitchell, who had won an Oscar for his work on Stagecoach just the previous year.
