The Action Is Go!
As Marty Robbins pushes his stock car to yet another NASCAR victory, his brother Del lapses deeper into a sullen rage. As the mechanic who built the famous triple 7, Del resents being in the background while Marty gains the admiration of the crowd and women. Inwardly he yearns to race and beat Marty. The third brother, Steve, a revenue Agent for the local Treasury office, tries to keep the peace.
Two events finally turn brother against brother. First, Del feels a sudden jealousy when his girlfriend Sue innocently flirts with Marty. Then the final blowup comes when Marty wins the biggest race of the season, mainly due to Del's mechanical genius. The showdown happens at the Fairgrounds, where Del and Marty meet in a thrilling race that will almost cost Marty his life.
