Marge (Gale Sondergaard) is a cabaret singer and proprietor of the Isle of Forgotten Sins, a nightclub and brothel on a South Sea island. When two rough and ready patrons (John Carradine and Frank Fenton) strike a deal together to dive for a sunken $2 million in gold, Marge convinces them to take her along. The crew locates the gold just off the island in the archipelago, but a series of double-crossings and an approaching monsoon threaten to tear apart the expedition. Director Edgar Ulmer delivers exotic locales, exciting underwater sequences, and terrific storm effects in this B classic from Producers Releasing Corporation.
