When his trainer Shake (Don Knotts) befriends a gangster involved in the fight game, they unknowingly agree to a series of fixed matches. Not realizing that his victories were all setups, Bags accepts a bout with the defending champ called "The Butcher," ending with a hilarious showdown for the heavyweight championship of the world.
