Set in the seedy underbelly of bustling Singapore, Mee Pok Man is Eric Khoo's internationally acclaimed darkly comic tale of erotic fixation and disastrous love.
Lonely, misunderstood and ridiculed, the Mee Pok Man runs an all-night noodle stall in a notorious part of Singapore. His patrons are a motley assortment of hookers, pimps, outlaws and thugs. Among them is Bunny, a disillusioned prostitute who desperately wants to escape her vicious pimp. When the Mee Pok Man "rescues" Bunny after a hit-and-run accident, a bizarre and touching love emerges.
A scathing look at Singapore's sanitized society as well as a moving portrait of perverse obsession and failed love.
