He's About To Blow His Cover!

Leslie Nielsen stars in this screwball comedy with an edge, as Jack Potter, a crusty, private investigator who has been there, done it all and is ready to retire. Jack runs into Marty Mackenzie (Lochlyn Monro), a down on his luck actor who is unemployed and looking for a fast buck. Marty is intrigued with the notion that being a private eye might be an exciting career change and he convinces Potter to hire him. Against his better judgment, Jack sends Marty, armed with ninja gear and a can of tear gas, on a simple assignment to Beaver Ridge, a small backwoods town in Oregon. It's a simple case: to spy on a beautiful blonde for a jealous client. When he doesn't hear from his zealous assistant, he heads up the coast to check things out. What he finds is a creepy town with strange people, where nothing is as it seems and an assignment more bizarre than anyone could imagine.
