Four small kids... One big adventure!
Ryan has been looking forward to spending the summer with his Dad, but shortly after his Mom drops him off, he learns that his Dad has taken a summer teaching position. In an unfamiliar town, and feeling left out by the other kids, he takes solace in the companionship of his dog, Jupiter. When Jupiter disappears, and Ryan and his father are unable to find him, Ryan begins to lose hope, until he receives unexpected help from some new friends. Together the four kids canvas the town, looking for Jupiter, and find more than they bargained for when their search puts them on the trail of two bungling dognappers and an unscrupulous research scientist. But without proof, their parents wont believe them and the kids are forced to come up with their own plan of action.
