The real Larry, Moe, and Curly Joe introduce each cartoon in live-action vignettes.
As most people know, the Three Stooges began their career in vaudeville and moved on to enjoy success in films. In 1965, at the height of their second career in television, a series of 156 full-color Three Stooges cartoons premiered to an audience hungry for anything Stooge-related. In addition to providing the voices of their animated counterparts, the real Larry (Larry Fine), Moe (Moe Howard), and Curly Joe (Joe DeRita) introduced each cartoon in live-action vignettes. Originally aired on Saturday mornings, the series shows the Stooges in their hallmark slapstick situations, but taken just a step farther through the versatility of cartoons.
