Tales From The Orphanage, You Think You Had It Bad?
Today, everywhere in the world, kids aged 8-15 go to war. From Colombia, to Indonesia to the Middle East, they are ready to kill or be killed in the name of a cause they are not always old enough to understand. Child soldiers, child weapons for those who use them. After a period of training and indoctrination, they lose all notion of human values and become pliant, cold and unscrupulous warriors. These kids have nothing but the appearance of childhood.
Shot in the gritty, pseudo-documentary style, the darkly prescient film, Killer Kid tells the story of Djilali, an orphan from Lebanon, recruited by terrorists as a child assassin.When he goes to Paris to assassinate the French President he meets Karim, a boy from the poor, Arab section of the city.
