"A Goofy, darkly comic gangster movie." - The San Francisco Examiner

Richard Dreyfuss heads an all-star cast in this wickedly funny gangster spoof that explodes with rapid-fire wit and deadly double crosses. An "irresistibly nuts" (Rolling Stone) glimpse of the criminal underworld, Mad Dog Time is "a comedy masterwork" (American Urban Radio Networks) !

Mob boss Vic (Dreyfuss) is coming home from his most recent stay at a mental hospital, and, before you can say "bada-bing," his ambitious "friends," rivals and underlings are looking to put him - and each other - six feet under. Seems like the only one still loyal is Vic's hired gun Mickey Holliday (Jeff Goldblum)... except that, while Vic was away, Mickey was getting very friendly with his boss' girlfriend (Diane Lane). So who'll be left standing when the bullets start to fly? All bets are off!
